School Uniform

School uniform has to be purchased through School Trends. To order uniform, please visit their website  Enter 'Mrs Ethelston's' and choose the items you would like.  Delivery will be within 14 days to your chosen address.

Book bags, PE bags, and rucksacks can be purchased through Parentpay and collected from the school office the same day.

General Wear for all children:

  • Royal blue polo shirt with school logo
  • Royal blue sweatshirt or sweat cardigan with school logo
  • Plain black shoes (no trainers, boots or high heels)
  • Plain coat or jacket (preferably waterproof)



  • Long or short (knee length) grey trousers
  • Grey socks



  • Grey or Navy skirt, pinafore, shorts or trousers
  • Blue checked summer dress
  • White ankle or knee length socks



  • White T-Shirt, plain or with logo
  • Navy blue shorts
  • Track suit top and joggers (blue/black/grey)
  • Plimsolls (for Reception and Year 1 only)
  • Trainers


Parents are asked to mark all items clearly with your child’s name. Please ensure jewellery is not worn to school, with the exception of ear studs and watches.


In order to maintain our high standards, a reminder letter is sent home to parents if items of uniform are missing or incorrect.


Notice to Parents

The Trust Board of Acorn Multi Academy Trust has agreed to submit a request for a variation to be made to the Admissions arrangements for Mrs Ethelston's CE Primary Academy for 2021-22, in respect of the over-subscription criteria relating to church attendance.

The variation requested is that " In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these [admissions] arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship".
